Overnight Blackberry & Banana Oats

Are you someone who likes to eat oatmeal for breakfast, but don’t have the time to make it in the morning? Try this recipe! It’s simple and its flavors can be changed in so many different ways. I have included some additional options and suggestions below, so be sure to check them out! I would love to hear in the comments any flavor combinations you have tried.

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup of rolled oats

– 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk (or whatever milk you prefer)

– 1/2 Tbsp. of chia seeds

– 1/2 banana, sliced

– 1/2 cup of blackberries

Cooking Instructions:

1) Measure and pour the oats into a 16 oz. mug.

2) Add the chia seeds and the milk, and then stir.

3) Pour the fruit on top, cover and leave in the fridge over night.

4) The next morning, take it out of the fridge and enjoy as is or warm it up in the microwave!

You can swap the blackberries and banana for any other fruit you want (e.g. strawberries, raspberries, apples) and add different spices. I personally like adding cinnamon with either apples or bananas. You can also add raw honey to make the oatmeal taste even sweeter.
